At Marcellin College we cater for diverse learners, students that are academically gifted and students who need special assistance.
This differentiated approach to teaching and learning is in keeping with St Marcellin's credo to "treat them all equally". Whatever a student's needs are, we do our utmost to provide them with the best possible opportunities to learn and value becoming a good Christian and good citizen.
Diverse Learning at Marcellin College encompasses many and varied areas of specialist education. These specialist programs include;
- The Newman Selective Gifted Education Program - Stages 4 and 5 Years 7-10 across all Key Learning Areas.
- Special Needs and learning support programs in Years 7-12, including the Special Provisions Program across all Key Learning Areas
- Whole school subject specific Literacy initiatives across all Key Learning Areas and all stages Years 7-12.
