Parents and Carers are invited to a MCR Wellbeing presentation:

Parents in Touch - Supporting the mental health

and wellbeing of our young people

"A Slow Road to Disconnected Children"

At 6.30pm on Monday 29th October we are fortunate to have Mr Brad Marshall, address our parent body here at Marcellin College. Brad is the Child and Family Psychologist and Clinical Director of the Internet Addiction Clinic @ Kidspace. An accomplished presenter, Brad will provide professional development to our MCR teachers along with our parent body on this night.

Brad routinely helps families find a balance between healthy screen time and problematic overuse. This talk will provide parents with the "psychological underpinnings" that drive the addictive nature of gaming, social media and online gambling. It will then arm parents with concrete strategies to manage screen time.

This complimentary event will be held in Greenstead Hall, Marcellin College Randwick. Please book your tickets here.

The Marcellin Graduate

They arrive as young boys dependent very much on their parents and their teachers; they depart as adults in the eyes of the law. Young men - citizens of the world. There is an impression that the Marcellin boy is cocooned on the eastern side of Anzac Parade. The challenge for him is that he sees beyond that into the broader world. He is a global citizen. He is called to reach out to others, to let go of any preoccupation with self. His destiny is, as
St Marcellin Champagnat foretold, to be a good Christian and good citizen.
